Merry Christmas!

I can’t believe we are only 3 days away from Christmas! I think almost all the animals have been good except for one that disappeared. Maybe taken by Krampus? 🤔 This was several weeks ago! No feathers left behind, nothing. She was one of the chicks that a hen hatched over the summer, see picture below of the cute little chicks. It’s strange because she always stayed with two other hens and just disappeared!

Unfortunately, it happens when owning chickens and allowing them to free range. However, I think chickens are happiest when they can free range.

Momma D, our duck, had a hurt foot so she had to stay in my office for a few days. Fast forward a couple of weeks later, we have a rooster in my office with a hurt foot. He may have a chance to sneak and see Santa deliver gifts. 🤫🤭 Below is our rooster chilling waiting to be fed.

Our family did drive to Hampton Roads to enjoy some Christmas lights. On the day we went it was super warm, almostt 70 degrees! 🥵 . On the way home the next day, rained poured. Then we woke up it was snowing!!! Me and ducks walking around in the snow. 🤣

We visited 3 spots in hampton roads. Two in portsmouth and one in Chesapeake. We also went to the Portsmouth Children’s Museum and had fun but the second floor was closed and the parking garage was closed (I think it’s called the Center one) so we had to park at the Middle Parking Garage. Just FYI.

I believe all the Christmas will be kept up until January 1.
