This week started off CRAZY! In the beginning of the week I had decided to wear my flip flops instead of my rain boots to put the animals up for the night. My rain boots were still wet from the last time I wore them. I admit, my rain boots are torn up, having seen better days. When Speckles was alive, he did a number on them with his spurs! The good old days 😂. Speckles was a mean rooster in case you are new to my blog!

I put my flip flops on, gathered my scoop and water. Opened the door, whacking my foot with it. I looked down to find my little toe bleeding. While cleaning up in the bathroom, I discovered that half of my toe nail was gone!!

The next couple of days have been awkward with my toe nail missing! The wound had blistered, but luckily that went down and now it’s fine. There’s a scab on it now. Enough about my toe!

Jacob has almost completed the Brahma chicken coop! We just need to put on a roof and do some last minute touches!

Our vegetable plants are the same. I have buckets for the rest of the plants to go into but I have to drill holes in them first! That’s on the to do list for this weekend. The other plants have grown a lot! I think a green house is great for sprouting new plants! I think the moisture in the green house really helps the plants to grow!

I released a video earlier today! Check it out if you haven’t, link will be below! It’s about our fruit trees, blueberry bushes, strawberry garden, and black berry bushes. We learned a hard lesson in trying to grow these plants and trees with livestock. They don’t mix!

That’s all for now! Thanks for reading! 🙂
