I finally started transferring our remaining vegetable plants into pots. However, I have ran out of pots so I need to get more! Here are a couple of pictures of the potted veggies!

I started off with many plants but have lost a lot due to the heat. I also caught our cat in the green house, knocking off several plants from the table. I even found eggs in there 😂. I don’t have a picture because after I gathered the eggs, the hens never laid there again.
We still have some plants waiting to be potted. Below is a picture of the egg plants and peppers. We have a few sqaush plants left, too.

Besides gardening I have made tortillas. They are not the prettiest but they worked. The recipe came from The Prairie Homestead. It was an interesting recipe to do. I couldn’t quite get the tortillas round😂. I also didn’t like the coconut oil flavor. I did have to add more flour since my dough kept sticking. However, they did come out and we used them for tacos! I plan on making these again but using a different oil. I do wonder if with the coconut we could add butter, sugar, and cinnamon for these! Yum!

Tonight when I went to feed Little Roo and Roo Roo (our two roosters on the deck), I almost ran into a huge spider web! I took a picture after I took some of the webbing down. Ugh. I do not like spiders. The huge spider is pictured below. To me it looked like a writing spider but in the picture it doesn’t look like it.

The young chicken that had hurt her leg is now walking again. She now has a slight limp. I kept her inside for a couple of days. I think if the chicken is limping or not walking, it’s best to place them in a confined spot to help them heal. If not, then the chicken might hurt the leg further by walking or getting stepped on by other chickens.
