Crockpot Chicken Chili

Cooler weather is about to hit soon! If you are craving something warm, comforting, and easy then give this a try!
There are two ways to do this recipe. One way is with raw chicken and the other is with cooked chicken. Either way it will come out good! I just do the cooking a little bit different.
Course Main Course

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Chicken without bones or skin
  • 16 oz Chicken Broth
  • 1 10.5 oz Cream of Chicken
  • 30 oz Navy or Northern Beans use either can or soak dried beans and cook them
  • 1 15 oz Corn or Hominy can use either white or gold. Drain.

Spices

  • 1 tbsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp Cumin
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic and Onion Powder, Oregano, and Crushed Red Pepper

Notes

Cooking with Raw Chicken: Place the raw chicken onto the bottom of the crock pot. Mix all the ingredients together and pour on top of the chicken. Cook on low for 8 hours. At the end of cooking take a spoon and break the chicken apart, stirring it.
Cooking with Cooked Chicken: Just throw everything in together. For cooking time it doesn’t take long since the chicken is cooked. I like to put it on high for 4 hours. I do this because I believe this gives the beans, chicken, etc. a chance to soak up the flavor.
However you cook it, top with sour cream and cheese! Enjoy! 😋😋😋
With my family, we double the recipe and eat this a couple of times a week or just freeze left overs.
