Kings Dominion Doswell, VA
Kings Dominion is an amusement park that’s located in Doswell, VA. As a kid, I remember Kings Dominion being fun BUT hot with not a lot of shade in the park. During that time, in my eyes it paled in comparison to Busch Gardens which had trees and flowers everywhere, allowing one to retreat to a shady spot to cool off on hot days. Fast forward many, many years, Kings Dominion today has turned into a beautiful park with shade! I was impressed not only by the shade but the food places that were added and the large addition of rides and attractions for kids. They also added an attraction called Dinosaurs Alive. Unfortunately, we didn’t see the attraction since it was another fee so we skipped it. We will definitely do Dinosaurs Alive next time! Click on the picture below to go through the slide show!
Admssion: Around $46 for same day or around $100 for season pass (depending on which one you pick).
My employer is enrolled in Working Advantage. When we had gone to Kings Dominion I was able to get the four of us one day tickets for around $120 but I also got the tickets in August last year.
