Happy Friday! I wanted to post a quick update! The vegetable plants and chicks are growing so fast! However, my lettuce from my other pot is gone! Now I only have one type of lettuce but I think it looks like a tree or other weed. I have to see if this lettuce is what it’s supposed to look like! 😂
Our other vegetable plants are doing good. We have to clear out the garden to plant them.
The chicks are growing fast! Below is a picture of the chicks with two full grown hens! We have been letting them free range longer during the day! I have seen a hawk early morning so we let them out towards late afternoon.
We ended up letting one of the hens that comes in every day to sit on eggs. We now have 4 chicks in the house! In the picture we only see 3 chicks but there’s another chick underneath the hen!
That’s all that I have for now! Thanks for reading! Also Momma D the duck is doing good. She hasn’t been sitting on eggs and seems like she is sometimes getting along with our new ducks.
