Once again there’s not much going on. Which is a good thing!
Last week I wrote about a chicken that sounded like she had congestion, coughing. We ordered her medication called VetRX.
It’s an ointment kind of. Either you can rub it onto your bird or mix it with water, using it as a spray. We ordered if off amazon, which was going to take a week to get, but Jacob found and picked it up at Tractor Supply. I’ll keep you updated on how this works.
The green house is still standing strong! We had a lot of thunder storms recently. The metal poles in it seem to be strong and the cover is really thick. We are still really happy with it!
You can check out my green house update video! Since the video we have had many, many more storms! Our concern when we purchased the green house was, is it going to break under high winds? Long, long time ago we bought a gazebo. It was really pretty. Long story short, we had a thunder storm and the gazebo ended up in the trash. The metal used for it was cheap and had bent all sorts of ways after the storm.
The chicks are still doing well. They are getting bigger, going further out into the yard! The other day, I went to let the older chickens and chicks out. The chicks were missing. Come to find out they were ALL roosting in the older chicken’s coop. It was really cute but of course I didn’t have my phone to take a picture!
That’s it for right now! Thank you for reading! 😊 Always feel free to comment below!
