I finally tried Walmart Grocery Pickup for my groceries! It was mainly food items for Thanksgiving! I overall had a positive experience and wanted to share it!

One thing I hate about going to the store is getting tons of groceries and maneuvering the cart around the crowded aisles. I hate it when I think I have gotten all the items on my list only to discover I forgot an item on the list or forgot to put the item on there!

When I decided to order my Thanksgiving ingredients on Walmart Pickup, I made a list of all that I needed. If I couldn’t remember an exact recipe I was able to pull the recipe card out and order the ingredients! How amazing is that!?

The only problem I had was ordering the turkey. I wasn’t sure how big I wanted the turkey so I left it off and had my husband pick it up at the store.

When I was done with the list, I picked the date and the estimate time for pick up. Once I submitted the order, I had gotten a confirmation stating I will get an email with pick up time.

The next day I got an email that a substitution had been made. 😨 I had ordered ham for ham rolls. They substituted it with TURKEY. Turkey. I thought that was an odd choice! However, we were able to take it off.

I got another email letting me know the order was ready to be picked up. I downloaded the Walmart grocery app to my phone and let them know we were in route to get it. 😆 More like my husband was on route to go get it, but they didn’t know.

All the groceries were already in bags. The turkey (a substitution for the ham) had been taken off with no problem. Once my husband got home all we had to do was unload!

It was nice to see all like items were in the same bag. For example, cold items were stored with cold items, cans had been grouped together. Sometimes when you go to the store you get a cashier that will toss the cans in with the chips if you aren’t paying attention 😅.

Like I had written before…Overall, it was a positive experience! I highly recommend it especially if you have a lot going on. It took the stress out of grocery shopping or having to drop whatever to go to the store!
