Let me start off saying this month has been crazy.  Crazy from the very beginning and seemingly to the end!  I was making dinner the other night when my husband called me outside.  At first, I thought there might be a dog in the yard or one of the animals had gotten injured.    Luckily, it was neither of those or anything else presumably bad.  One of our hens that had made herself scarce over the last few weeks came out of the brush with chicks!  We are now proud owners of a black chick, red chicks, and yellow chicks.
